The Food channel has one of the challenge programs on. Make a better burger, win, take home $50,000 dollars. Others, make a pie, take home 20,000 dollars. Go to a BBQ contest, spend 500.00 to 1,000 or more,stay over night, win and take home 1,500 dollars.Or if ya come in 10th place, a ribbon. What the hey. Now I won't be winning the big stuff, but sure would be nice to see ALL the contests with $50,000 dollar or more Grand Champ money. They could pay 40th place at least $100.00 with that size purse.
