I have used cherry wood that last 6-7 times I have smoked my food. I get a very bad after taste that will linger in my mouth for hours. It almost tastes like lighter fluid, but I do not use lighter fluid. I never had this problem with Oak, and I have been cookin the same way with the cherry that I did with the oak. Any thoughts. I think I got some bad wood, the Cherry, before I cook with it, does not ahve any smell to it, and I thouhght the fruit woods should have a smell. I am using logs.
